The long, infinite horizon of life
An endless expanse of uncertainties.
How then can I make choices today
Not knowing tomorrow's knitty-gritty's?

How can I hit the proverbial bull's-eye
When I don't know where it lies?
How can I choose the speed to run
If my expectations the future belies?

  1. Uncertainty is the juice of life,
    Without it, the infinite horizon would be trivial.
    Our choices today define our tomorrow,
    Carpe Diem, my friend, is not just proverbial.

    The bull's eye, is a myth, I say.
    No one's ever known where it lies,
    Our speed is but, our choice;
    Not something expectation buys.
